We’re currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a temporary ongoing assignment with a well-established logistics operation in Nursling. This role is mainly forklift-based, offering consistent day shifts, weekly pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trailers and containers (including use of ramps where required)
- Moving stock around the warehouse and yard areas
- Wrapping pallets and preparing goods for dispatch
- Assisting with light manual handling and general warehouse tasks when needed
- Carrying out basic quality checks on goods
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous Counterbalance forklift experience is essential
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house or external accepted)
- Confident loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Comfortable with some manual handling alongside forklift duties
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently
- Good attention to detail
Hours & Pay:
- £12.70 per hour, paid weekly
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
- 40 hours per week
- Temporary ongoing assignment with the possibility of going permanent
