What You’ll Be Doing:
- Attending machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production and freezer equipment
- Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs
- Working closely with production teams to maintain output and efficiency
- Completing maintenance inspections and accurately updating equipment records
- Supporting improvements to machinery performance, reliability, and production flow
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Proven maintenance engineering experience within food manufacturing
- Confident responding to breakdowns and working under pressure
- Strong working knowledge of motors and heat exchangers
- High hygiene standards with excellent attention to detail
- CAD, hygienic welding, and refrigeration experience are beneficial
- Able to provide full references prior to starting
What You’ll Get:
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
- Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15 (late shift)
- Permanent, full-time position
