Are you looking for a permanent maintenance role with long-term stability? We’re recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable, family-run manufacturing business known for its strong culture, quality standards, and supportive engineering team. This is a mechanically focused role with some electrical responsibilities, ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving in a production environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and completing predominantly mechanical repairs
  • Supporting electrical fault finding when required
  • Inspecting equipment and updating maintenance records
  • Working closely with production teams to improve efficiency
  • Contributing to machinery reliability and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical engineering background
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - essential
  • Confident working with motors, drives, and production equipment
  • Experience with LOTO / Permit to Work systems
  • Food Safety Level 2 (or willingness to complete)
  • Able to provide full references prior to starting
  • Own transport required - site is not accessible by public transport

What You’ll Get:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Full PPE provided
