IVOXX are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a reputable, family-run manufacturing business operating within a production environment. This is a predominantly mechanical role with some electrical responsibilities, ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on fault finding and keeping production running efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery
  • Diagnosing faults and completing primarily mechanical repairs
  • Supporting electrical fault finding when required
  • Updating maintenance records
  • Working closely with production teams to improve efficiency
  • Contributing to machinery reliability and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Mechanical engineering background/qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential
  • Experience with LOTO / Permit to Work systems
  • Previous experience within a food production or FMCG environment is beneficial
  • Own transport required – site is not accessible by public transport

What You’ll Get:

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15 (late shift)
  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Opportunity to be taken on permanently after 12 weeks
  • Full PPE provided
