IVOXX are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a reputable, family-run manufacturing business operating within a production environment. This is a predominantly mechanical role with some electrical responsibilities, ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on fault finding and keeping production running efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery
- Diagnosing faults and completing primarily mechanical repairs
- Supporting electrical fault finding when required
- Updating maintenance records
- Working closely with production teams to improve efficiency
- Contributing to machinery reliability and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical engineering background/qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is essential
- Experience with LOTO / Permit to Work systems
- Previous experience within a food production or FMCG environment is beneficial
- Own transport required – site is not accessible by public transport
What You’ll Get:
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
- Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15 (late shift)
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Opportunity to be taken on permanently after 12 weeks
- Full PPE provided
