Are you looking for a permanent maintenance role with long-term stability? We’re recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable, family-run manufacturing business known for its strong culture, quality standards, and supportive engineering team. This is a mechanically focused role with some electrical responsibilities, ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving in a production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across machinery
- Diagnosing faults and completing predominantly mechanical repairs
- Supporting electrical fault finding when required
- Inspecting equipment and updating maintenance records
- Working closely with production teams to improve efficiency
- Contributing to machinery reliability and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - essential
- Confident working with motors, drives, and production equipment
- Experience with LOTO / Permit to Work systems
- Food Safety Level 2 (or willingness to complete)
- Able to provide full references prior to starting
- Own transport required - site is not accessible by public transport
What You’ll Get:
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
- Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:15
- Permanent, full-time position
