Keep production moving in a busy food manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established business, supporting the smooth operation of essential equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing machinery such as rollers, conveyors, line machines, motors, and heat exchangers
  • Attending breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime
  • Planning and completing scheduled maintenance
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
  • Working closely with production teams to maintain output and efficiency
  • Ensuring work is completed to high safety, hygiene, and quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven engineering experience within food manufacturing
  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering skills
  • Ideally experienced in hygienic welding and/or refrigeration systems
  • CAD drawing experience would be beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of motors and heat exchangers
  • Excellent hygiene standards and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience attending and resolving production breakdowns
  • Able to provide 3 years of referenceable work history
