We are recruiting operatives for a short-term assignment supporting a busy production team within a company specialising in the design and manufacture of items.
This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates who are reliable, physically fit, and able to work at pace in a team environment.
The Role
You will be assisting a sewing machinist by handling large fabric panels and supporting the production process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the movement of large panels
- Sliding, pushing, and pulling materials into position
- Supporting the sewing machinist to maintain workflow
- Working efficiently to ensure production targets are met
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
About You
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Able to work quickly while maintaining safety standards
- A strong team player who supports colleagues
- Reliable and able to commit to the full assignment period
- Good awareness and attention to detail
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 – 12:30 (early finish)
