We’re looking for a reliable and practical Production Operative to join a small, friendly manufacturing team based in New Alresford. This is a short-term, 2-4 month temporary assignment, ideal if you’re available immediately and enjoy hands-on, detail-focused work in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating and loading metal tubes into a swaging machine
- Using basic workshop tools and equipment such as a pillar drill
- Pressing and assembling metal tubes with care and precision
- Checking work for quality and accuracy
- Following clear instructions to maintain safety and production standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Own transport is essential due to location
What You’ll Get:
- £12.50 per hour, paid weekly in arrears
- Monday–Thursday 07:45–17:00 | Friday 07:45–14:00
- 15-minute paid tea breaks each day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch (Mon–Thu)
