We’re recruiting a Production Operative to support a well-established local manufacturing business. This is a temporary role for 4 weeks initially, with the potential to run longer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assembling products by following clear instructions
- Using basic hand tools to complete repetitive assembly tasks
- Boxing and packaging finished units correctly for dispatch
- Checking components for quality and accuracy before packing
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous production or assembly experience is helpful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently
- Basic hand tool experience is an advantage
What You’ll Get:
- £12.21 per hour, paid weekly in arrears
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
- Temporary role for 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension
- Light assembly work with no heavy lifting
- Option to sit or stand while working
