IVOXX are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager on behalf of a fast-paced, growing transport and distribution business in Southampton. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to drive performance, shape operations, and play a key part in the company’s continued growth and success.
This position is ideal for a commercially minded leader who can oversee operations strategically, build strong relationships, and deliver measurable improvements across warehouse performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing strategic oversight of warehouse operations, driving efficiency and performance
- Leading and developing a team, setting direction and expectations
- Managing key customer accounts and maintaining high service levels
- Overseeing supplier relationships, including negotiation and performance management
- Taking ownership of financial performance, including cost control and P&L responsibility
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting the growth and development of the warehouse function
- Ensuring operational delivery meets both commercial and service objectives
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a warehouse operations leadership role
- Strong commercial awareness with experience influencing cost and performance
- Experience managing suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong IT skills, including experience with WMS/ERP systems and reporting
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience within a fast-paced or multi-client distribution environment is beneficial
What You’ll Get:
- Circa £50,000 per annum (DOE)
- Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
