We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced working environment in Southampton. This is primarily a warehouse role, but the successful candidate must have previous experience operating machinery and be comfortable supporting different areas of the operation as required.
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 6:00pm
- 40 hours per week
- £27,500 per annum
- Permanent, full-time opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Handling and moving materials and stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders
- Operating an FLT to move and organise stock
- Operating machinery, including saws and cutting equipment
- Preparing and organising materials
- Supporting colleagues across different areas of the business as required
- Carrying out other general warehouse and operational duties
About You:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Valid FLT licence and proven forklift experience
- Previous experience operating machinery, ideally including saws or cutting equipment
- Manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous
- Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Flexible and willing to learn and support different areas of the business
- Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment
